CLSTL are the kind of band that feels like a late-night drive with the windows down. Formed in Los Angeles in 2023, they blend indie rock with a hint of post-punk and new wave, creating a sound that feels dreamy but still hits with energy. It’s music that lets you think, feel, and keep moving all at once.

At the heart of CLSTL is a simple idea. Growth is messy, and that’s okay. Their songs lean into change, uncertainty, and everything in between, but they never get weighed down by it. There’s always a sense of hope running through what they do. You hear it in the way their tracks build, in the lyrics that feel honest without trying too hard, and in the atmosphere they create.

Their debut album HOPE marked a big moment for the band. It introduced their world properly, setting the tone with emotional depth and immersive production. Since then, they’ve kept pushing forward, refining their sound and digging deeper into themes like self-acceptance and finding your place.

One standout release is “Distance.”  It captures that feeling of being stuck in your own head but slowly finding a way through. It’s raw, relatable, and quietly powerful, the kind of track that sticks with you after it ends.

Live shows are a huge part of what makes CLSTL special. They’ve been playing across Los Angeles, building a reputation for performances that feel just as emotional as their recordings. There’s a real connection there, not just between the band, but with the crowd too.

CLSTL aren’t trying to be perfect. They’re just real. And that’s exactly why people are starting to pay attention.
