What is the Good News for Tennessee State-Apple National Coding Hub? More schools are going to join Tennessee State-Apple in Tech Initiative.

The news report by Associated Press mentioned the school is hoping for a dozen historically black colleges and universities will be joining Tennessee national coding hub as community center.

The community centers will be other than “Apple’s Community Education” Initiative. Tennessee’s tech program is planned to extend the creative and tech experience at schools and communities for which a dozen of schools are joining.

In the list of schools joining are following: “Alabama State University, Clark Atlanta University, Edward Waters College, Elizabeth City State University, Florida A&M University, Harris-Stowe State University, Lane College, LeMoyne-Owen College, Lincoln University in Missouri, Simmons College of Kentucky, Virginia State University and Texas Southern.”

The schools will become member with the three dozen universities across the United States, that is the part of initiative. Apple is supporting this tech program “HBCUs” with the gearand professional training and development.

This is an initiative to empower HBCU communities using creativity and coding. It is a national initiative as community center. This educational and tech program aims to promote innovation and address community challenges using app design and Apple’s swift programming language.

The tech workforce will remove barriers to strengthen community with Apple tech equipment. It involves use of STEM education and developing learning pathways. More schools joining this initiative will contribute to developing more skilled and creative individuals. Apple will also be supporting the program for the development of community.

It is the mission of the Tennessee State-Apple National Coding Hub to assist Historically Black Colleges and Universities for digital literacy and prepare the students for coding. The schools joining this initiative will become a part of this coding and creativity tech program.

The school shared this in a news release on Friday; “Apple and Tennessee State University have been working together for the last two years to expand the initiative to bring coding and creativity experiences to all HBCUs and their communities”. This initiative is going to be a news Global HBCU Headquarters for Innovation.

There will be multiple trainings, workshops, coding carnivals and academic events for the professional development. This is a great opportunity for the institutes, campuses, and communities to develop. Apple’s supportwith gear and equipment is another plus for the program. Black colleges and universities will be enjoying C2 community of practice program that will operate nationally.

This program delivers professional learning and schools can be connected to the partners as community center called has the national hub. Collectively the initiative will be beneficial for the community to develop them into tech professionals.

HBCUs regional State-Apple community program is building IT pipeline in the United Sates for the creativity and coding experience. There will be both virtual and face-to-face trainings and workshops for Apple’s Consultant Network Training Institute Program. The students will serve as community leader for C2, coding and creativity.
