Victoria’s Secret model Mischaela Elkins enters coveted international MAXIM Model territory

There are a few milestones that solidify a model’s trajectory from model to supermodel. One such milestone is making the cut as an international MAXIM model. Supermodels like Irina Shayk, Candice Swanepoel, Stella Maxwell, Hailey Baldwin, and Rosie Huntington-Whitely have graced the magazines pages. Much like her much more famous VS Angel model counterparts, fellow Victoria’s Secret model Mischaela Elkins has elevated to the level of MAXIM model.

Mischaela has been modeling since 2009, when she won an agency callback at the 2009 Elite New Faces modeling contest. She was 1 of 3 models out of 300 to receive a callback with the agency. From there she has worked with top brands in fashion, beauty, fine jewelry, accessories, and luxury swimwear. Her resume includes Acquascutum, Graff, Cle de Peau, and Van Cleef & Arpels – among others. She’s done editorial work for Chanel and Mugler and most recently was seen on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar for the May 2022 issue, alternative cover to 11th in line to the throne, Charlotte Casiraghi of Monaco.

Featured heavily on Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue media properties, Mischaela is already an established luxury swimwear model for Colombia’s Agua Bendita, Miami’s Luli Fama, and Malibu’s Beach Bunny Swimwear. Her credentials in more commercial swimsuit modeling also include stints modeling the Victoria’s Secret Swim line as well as the official Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue swimsuit line by Venus.

Mischaela’s MAXIM credentials include a special solo editorial in the brand’s limited edition “Women of the World” special feature that was shot on location at the breathtaking Paracas National Reserve, cracking MAXIM Korea’s list of theTop Swimsuit Models of 2022, and making both the MISS MAXIM Korea and MISS MAXIM Russia class of 2022 model list. Not since Joana Krupa has a swimwear model made such an impact across the portfolio of international MAXIM brands. Krupa was German MAXIM’S Model of the Year 2004-2005 and has appeared in the magazine’s US and international editions multiple times. As such, she has a worthy heiress in the form of fellow Victoria’s Secret model and swimsuit top model, Mischaela Elkins.
