Turkish Rumeysa Gelgi is 7ft, 0.7 in tall; she breaks the world’s tallest records

This woman is 7ft, 0.7 in tall, She has received “world’s tallest” records. Rumeysa Gelgi is a 24 year old from Turkey.

She was just confirmed as the world’s tallest living woman by Guinness world records in October 2021.

Gelgi received the first Guinness record at the age of 18, as the world’s tallest living female teenager. Gelgi was born with a rare genetic condition known weaver syndrome, which can cause rapid growth. Gelgi has used the publicity that comes with her world records  to raise awareness about genetic diseases, as well as  to celebrate differences

Her Interview with a news channel

She said, I feel very proud to receive this new record title as the tallest living woman, especially for being 2 times world record holder now. Since 2014, I have used my title for [advocating about] serious disease and I am very happy that I can help raise awareness, especially for weaver syndrome, and also scoliosis, which are the diseases I was born with. In Turkish,If people , who have visual differences and who feel diffident because of their differences, watch this interview, I would like to tell them that being diffident is not as bad as you think.

It can bring you unexpected success. I personally think that differences and other features which seem like disadvantages can be turned into advantages, If you want to it and make effort for it that is exactly what I did.

The world,s tallest living man, Sultan Kosen , is also living in turkey. Gelgi said she would love to meet him one day, of course, I am thrilled by the interest and support I received I feel motivate and proud and thank everyone for their interest. Right now, the world’s tallest living woman and the world’s tallest living man are both residing in Turkey. Turkey now holds both records. It is such a nice coincidence.
