Lana Del Rey is off the market: Famous singer has secretly married Louisiana alligator swamp tour guide Jeremy Dufrene last month, according to recently filed documents.

Marriage license for Del Rey and Dufrene was signed and filed at the Lafourche Parish Clerk of Court’s office, confirming their union. This was on Friday as rumors regarding the status of the couple’s relationship swirled.
The Associated Press obtained a document that details that the wedding service was conducted by Judah Smith, a Los Angeles-based pastor who is also connected to Justin Bieber. Del Rey fans may know him from her 2023 album Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd, in which he is credited as a co-writer for the track “Judah Smith Interlude.”
Speculation on the couple’s marriage had started on September 26 when TMZ reported that the singer, whose real name is Elizabeth Woolridge Grant, and Dufrene had secured a marriage license. Confirmation from the Associated Press later revealed that indeed the couple did get that license from the Lafourche Parish Clerk of Court on September 23, but the license wasn’t officially returned and processed until recently.
In Louisiana, clerks are required to provide marriage licenses for a return within 10 days of the marriage, though some flexibility is shown. The license was to expire Wednesday if not returned. The license says Del Rey, 39, and Dufrene, 49, exchanged vows at 3:33 p.m. September 26 in Des Allemands, a bayou town where Dufrene works as a captain for Airboat Tours by Arthur. The marriage license also lists Des Allemands as a shared residence of the couple.
The timeline of their relationship is not clear, but there are already photos circulating of Del Rey and Dufrene, dating back to 2019, when she took one of his swamp tours.
