LinkedIn’s global senior principal, Seamus Clancy, discussed cooperation with Kazakhstan’s Minister of Information and Social Development, Darkhan Kydyrali.
The Minister of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Darkhan Kydyrali, met online with the head of LinkedIn’s sales department in the public sector and non-profit organizations across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America, Seamus Clancy. Minister Kydyrali spoke described the democratic reforms carried out by the Kazakh President, Kassym-Jomart Tokaev, as well as areas supervised by the Ministry.
In Kazakhstan, more than 14 million people (72% of the population) are active users of social networks. “The trend in the use of social networks directly affects everyday life. Nowadays, we are taking measures to improve the professional level of journalists, press secretaries, and media managers in our country. In this regard, we are aware of the benefits of using social networks and online platforms and are also interested in partnering with LinkedIn”, the Minister said.
Seamus Clancy, LinkedIn’s senior principal, noted that LinkedIn is delighted for this opportunity to meet with Kazakhstan’s highest ministerial level for the first time. “We are very pleased and have the opportunity to carry out effective joint projects for users in Kazakhstan. We are always ready for the partnership”, he stressed
