The Irish Guild for NLP, Hypnotherapy, and 3 Principles Practitioners and Trainers (IGNLP) was founded by a group of coaches and educationalists, who observed the need for a more innovative way of training, whilst giving greater value to their members and spreading the knowledge of neuro-linguistic psychology, Hypnotherapy and 3 Principles modalities, They offer a variety of certified courses and also FREE resources for practitioners.
The courses which the Irish Guild develop are based on a curriculum framework which balances theory with practical techniques and demonstrations. Our Lead trainer and expert curriculum developer, Dr Terry McIvor writes courses which are designed to develop learning outcomes and assessment criteria based on the key competencies developed within the National Occupational Framework laid out by the sector skills councils U.K.
Trainers approved by the Irish Guild have demonstrated their professionalism and knowledge to the highest standards. All of the trainers that are registered with the Guild have undertaken ongoing professional and personal development and are actively involved in the NLP, Hypnotherapy and 3 Principles community. The International Coach Register (ICR) is the global mark and register for well-trained coach practitioners. The training programmes offered by the Irish Guild are fully recognised and accredited by ICR and the International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine (IPHM). This accreditation means that the Irish Guild is a trusted and competent organisation which delivers a first class service to its members. Which means their members will feel more at ease and confident when picking the right training course and/or membership service.
The Irish Guild was started, to address the problem of the lack of free CPD/CEU opportunities within other membership organisations operating within the wellbeing sector. The management team who manage and operate the Irish Guild, along with the founder Dr Terry McIvor have developed a 5 year strategic plan to build the guild into an international organisation with an even larger membership.
Although they have the name the Irish Guild for NLP, Hypnotherapy and 3 Principles Practitioners and Trainers, their membership catchment is truly international and not just the UK and Ireland. Therefore wherever you live in the world , you are welcome to join the Guild and benefit from the amazing membership that it offers.
IGNLP offers 3 Principle, NLP and Hypnotherapy Certification Programmes, All of these programmes have a minimum time period of 120 contact hours which lasts about 6 months. In addition to these, it also offers short courses for beginners and also some high-level courses for those who need a top up practitioner level training and who now want to take their learning to the next level.
The Irish Guild holds the highest quality standards and these are incorporated in the course design and implementation , these are available in the certified course section of the website. The user can also learn CPD/CEU courses through reading or watching a variety of training videos, however for certified skills development, the requirements are 120 hrs of online face to face or live zoom classes.
The trainers at the Irish Guild provide extensive support and deliver the classes. In a way that helps the students gain the skills required to be competent practitioners and trainers.
