Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, adopted into an American family, and raised in Indianapolis, William “Cloudy Wingz” Clark is an artist, entrepreneur, creator, author, and clothing brand founder shaped by loss and rebuilding.
His name carries a philosophy: keep your mind clouded with dreams, ideas, aspirations, and ambitions, then spread your wings and take flight toward them.
Public profiles document devastating losses in his biological family, an unsettled childhood, institutional placements, and legal trouble. His account includes incarceration, homelessness, failed ventures, and misplaced trust. He refuses to present himself as a finished success story.
“Your past can explain you, but it doesn’t have to imprison you.”
THE OWNER INSTINCT
Cloudy traces his business beginnings to a mall kiosk in 2010, followed by a storefront. By 2018, Artist Reach covered ventures including Cloudy’s Emporium, an online e-commerce store, and Quick Hit LLC, an ATM business. The ventures changed; the instinct remained: create something, own the decisions, and build it to survive everyday life.
THE MUSIC LEFT A PAPER TRAIL
In 2016, Jamsphere reviewed “Everywhere I Go,” highlighting its storytelling and romantic focus. In 2021, Bong Mines Entertainment covered “Papi Chulo,” blending hip-hop, trap, and reggaeton. His catalog also includes “Big Cloudy,” featuring Sauce Walka, listed by Apple Music.
Music gave his experiences a voice. Fashion gives them another surface.
ENTER THE HOUSE OF CLOUDS
Cloudy Wingz House of Clouds speaks its founder’s language:
Motion Over Emotion. The Other Side of Risk. Play the Long Game.
Its introduction welcomes people who keep rising, creating, and pushing forward. Its promise: “Made for the Uncommon.”
Cream lettering, cloud imagery, assertive typography, bold back graphics, and restrained chest emblems connect streetwear with private-club understatement, from the gym and street to the golf course.
Cloudy Wingz discusses failure without letting it define the whole story. Behind the confidence is history; behind the image is unfinished work. “Starting over doesn’t mean you’re back at the beginning. You’re starting again with experience.” That experience has become music, business, writing, and clothing. The next chapter has a name. He is still deciding how large to make it.
