How are you doing today?Thank you for accepting our invitation for an interview.
I am doing great. You are welcome. It is my pleasure to have this interview with you.
As an entrepreneur, what is the one thing you do over and over and recommend everyone else to do?
I constantly develop myself personally. I am open to learning new skills and methods. The business world is not static but rather dynamic. Thus, regardless of the industry in which you find yourself. Make it a sense of duty to continuously learn and grow. Never, come to a point where you think you have figured it all out. Continuous personal development is the key to sustainable success as an entrepreneur.
What is one strategy that has helped you grow your business? Please explain how.
The best business growth strategy is client recommendation.I always strive to deliver the best service possible to each client I serve. Because satisfied customers will always recommend you to others and that alone could lead to more business without you pouring money into advertisement.
Have you ever failed in your life? How do you deal with failure?
Of course, I have failed several times in my life. I believe the fear of failure is one of the reasons why most people are not pursuing their visions in life. In school we are all programmed to look at failure as a bad thing. But failure is necessary to achieve your vision and success in life. He who has never failed as never tried anything new. Failure is not a person; it is an event. Whenever I fail at something. I learn from my failed attempt; I get myself up and I give it another try. That’s how I deal with failure. Whenever you try again after a failed attempt, you don’t begin from scratch but rather from experience. I totally agree with Winston Churchill who said,“Success is the ability to move from failure to failure without losing your enthusiasm”. Failure is normal on the pathway to success. It all depends on how you handle the failure.
What is the best $100 you recently spent? What and why?
I recently spent 100 € on amazon ordering books on the speaking business. As I previously mentioned continuous learning is the key to sustainable success in any entrepreneurial venture. There are great speakers who have done remarkable things in this industry, so I buy their books and learn from their wisdom. That is money well spent in my opinion.
What is the one book that you recommend our community should read and why?
The bible, especially the book of proverbs. It contents so much wisdom that is useful for business and life success. Moreover, it will help reprogram your mind and your thoughts so that they will become align with the thoughts of your creator.
What is your favorite quote?
It is my personal quote, and it states “I have seen my future and I have decided to live there, don´t settle for a life that is below what your mind had conceived”
What have been the most important contributors to your success?
My faith in GOD and the vision I have for my life, have been the most important contributors to my success.
What was the turning point experience in your life?
It was in 2007 when I realized that GOD has a plan for my life. That was the time I received a vision of what I wanted to do with my life. The vision was not very clear at the beginning but with time it became clearer. That vision is what drives me till date.
What is your personal motto?
It is “Pursue your vision …. live a vision inspired life”
What do you think makes you stand out as an international speaker?
My entire life is a product of vision. Vision is one of the factors that helped me go from an unknown school dropout to an international speaker inspiring and impacting lives globally. I speak from experience and share the topic of vision from a practical perspective that releases so much passion each time I speak. My multi-cultural experience, multi-language ability, multi corporate and cross industry experiences coupled with 14 years of continuous personal development makes me standout.
None of us can achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?
I am not a self-made man. So many people have helped me to be where I am today. If I had to name them all, there won´t be enough space here to list them all. The one person I wish to mention here, who helped me get to where I am today is my uncle named: Charles Epie Charley. He was the person who believed in me and gave me hope to return to school after I dropped out of school due to the sudden death of my dad. He also invested in me, not just financially but gave me worthwhile advice and counsel that helped me avoid mistakes after I became an orphan. I am forever grateful for his investment and impact on my life.
What advice would you give your younger self?
I would advise every young person to find their purpose in life. Don´t go to school, to college and to university just for the sake of getting a degree. Rather, let the course of study and major you chose at school/college be one which will help you become more efficient in fulfilling your purpose in life.
What is the main principle that contributed to your success?
All what I have achieved up to this point in my life has been due to my faith in GOD. I trust GOD in everything I do, and I credit HIM for every success and victory that I achieve. The principles that will make you a success in life is the law of mentorship. We live in a fast-paced world with an increasing amount of information being produced every day. Whatever endeavor you are striving to achieve in life, do not attempt to reinvent the wheel. Go look for people who have accomplished a similar endeavor and learn from them. Mentorship might be direct in which the person mentors you directly or it might be indirect in which you buy the books, audio, or video programs of the person to learn from them. Mentorship is indeed the fastest way to achieve success in life
