MLife’s New Maverick: Mathias Pace Drops World-Uniting Anthem With IDD AZIZ and Rihanna Flip

The French DJ is putting a global spin on house music—and the industry is paying attention.

Move over, techno purists and cookie-cutter festival sets—Mathias Pace is bringing the soul back to house music.

The rising French DJ and producer, born in the shadow of the French Alps, just inked a major deal with MLife Music Group, the influential label founded by executive and tastemaker Mike Jean, known for catapulting international talent into the mainstream. And if the hype is any indication, Mathias Pace is next in line to become house music’s new global ambassador.

With a style that blends deep, organic grooves with emotionally charged melodies, Mathias Pace isn’t just spinning tracks—he’s curating sonic experiences. Drawing inspiration from legends like Black Coffee, Francis Mercier, and Adriatique, Mathias Pace crafts music that feels ancient and futuristic all at once. Think tribal drums meet cinematic synths. Think late-night rooftop sets that feel like spiritual awakenings.

And now, he’s about to unleash two powerhouse releases under his new label:

“Diamond” – A Club-Ready Rihanna Remix

Remixing a Rihanna classic is no small feat—but Mathias Pace flips the script with “Diamond,” a bold reimagination of the pop icon’s hit. Infusing her vocals with pulsing Afro-deep rhythms and haunting atmospheric textures, Mathias Pace delivers a version that feels like Rihanna dropped into a Tulum sunrise set.

“I wanted to respect the power of her voice, but take it somewhere completely new,” says Mathias. “A place between emotion and ecstasy.”

“Beautiful Day” ft. IDD AZIZ – A Global Anthem for Unity

If “Diamond” is the afterparty, “Beautiful Day” is the sunrise. Teaming up with IDD AZIZ, the revered Kenyan vocalist known for his collaborations with electronic giants like &ME and Da Capo, Mathias Pace delivers an uplifting, high-energy track rooted in African soul and global house rhythms.

“It’s more than a song—it’s a message,” says IDD AZIZ. “It’s about healing, connection, and the joy of being alive.”

Already being spun in underground circles from Berlin to Bogotá, “Beautiful Day” is set to become a festival favorite heading into the 2025 season.

Le Bal des Fous : The Moment That Lit Up Cannes

Before the record deals and remix buzz, Mathias Pace was already building a reputation as a must-see live performer. Most recently, he brought down the house at the iconic Le Bal des Fous rooftop party at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, playing for a sea of 5,000 ecstatic fans.

“Music has always been my therapy,” Mathias Pace says. “I want people to feel something—joy, release, elevation. That’s where the magic happens.”

Going Global With MLife

With MLife Music Group and global distribution behind him, Mathias Pace is entering a new chapter—and bringing a fresh perspective to a genre that’s begging for reinvention. Part spiritual seeker, part dancefloor architect, he’s not just riding the wave of global house—he’s helping shape its next evolution.

“Mathias represents everything MLife stands for,” says founder Mike Jean. “Talent, soul, vision—and the drive to connect people through sound.”

Expect a worldwide tour, music video drops, and more major collaborations to roll out in the coming months.

From the Alps to the World

In an era of algorithm-fed bangers, Mathias Pace is doing something different: creating music with heart, heritage, and a mission. And now, with the support of MLife and collaborations that span continents, he’s poised to go from the underground to the global mainstage.

The future of house music ? It’s got a French passport and a whole lot of soul.
