Signed to Just Call Me By My Name, the record label launched by Daniel’s Music Foundation (DMF), Iolanta continues to channel her remarkable life journey into music that moves, inspires, and empowers. Diagnosed with retinal cancer as an infant, Iolanta lost her sight at just nine months old following a five-hour surgery. By age two, she had already undergone multiple rounds of chemotherapy and beat cancer. Her music is born out of that profound journey—infused with heart, grit, and vision.

On “Power,” Iolanta declares with unwavering confidence: “Climbing to my power, they can’t bring me down now.” The track combines a modern pop sound with emotionally resonant lyrics that speak directly to anyone who’s ever faced adversity. It’s the latest from a growing body of work released by the record label Just Call Me By My Name® that explores themes of empowerment, positivity, and thought-provoking music by artists with disabilities.

“Unbreakable,” released in July 2024, introduced audiences to Iolanta’s voice and spirit. That single quickly became an anthem of resilience and was praised for its soulful melody and message of hope. “Power” takes that energy even further—showcasing Iolanta’s evolving artistry and fearless sense of self.

“I want people to hear these songs and feel like they’re not alone,” Iolanta says. “You can be scared and still be strong. You can be different and still be powerful.”

Both singles are available now on Spotify, Apple Music, TIDAL, and all major streaming platforms, as well as through Just Call Me By My Name® and DMF’s official channels. The official music video for “Power”

will premiere in May, bringing Iolanta’s powerful message to life with striking visuals that reflect her bold artistic vision.
