Yeniffer Behrens is an award-winning actress, producer, and co-founder of True Form Films and Shortcut 2 Hollywood. Yeniffer has starred in numerous films and television shows, including as a presenter for That ’70s Show actor Wilmer Valderrama at the 34th Annual Golden Eagle Awards. Some notable roles include The Way Back, Boston Legal, JAG, The Agency, Nip/Tuck, ABC’s General Hospital, C.S.I., and many others. Yeniffer Behrens was born in Caracas, Venezuela. At the age of 3, she moved to Washington,D.C., with her family due to her grandfather’s respected position as a diplomat.
At the age of 18, Yeniffer won the Miss Teen Miami Pageant and later earned an Associate of Arts degree in theater from Miami-Dade Community College. Pursuing a professional career in the industry, she made her film debut in Sylvester Stallone’s Hollywood blockbuster “The Specialist.” Yeniffer Behrens has collaborated with some of the industry’s best, including Will Smith, Ben Affleck, Patricia Heaton, Martin Sheen, and many others. Yeniffer is the founder of True Form Films Inc., along with her husband,
veteran actor and producer Mauricio Mendoza. True Form Films’ latest production, MI AMOR, has been making a buzz in film festival circuits and winning multiple awards!
In a recent interview, Yeniffer Behrens goes into detail on the making of “Mi Amor”:
“Everything I have written thus far is inspired by true events that I overcame as a young girl. The choices I made for better or worse in my 20’s… I have learned that all of it is meant for growth and healing. “Mi Amor” started as an idea with one of my best friends, to create a platform for our kids to star in. To play non-stereotypes and experience what it truly means to Greenlight Yourself Now as an ACTorprenuer. To take initiative in creating your own opportunities and not wait for anyone to give you permission to do what you love. This family love story is universal because we all have a first love, a lost love and as a mom, a forever love. I am literally flying into Atlanta to participate in the Georgia Latino International

Q: Tell us about your movie Sins & Virtues which was filmed during the pandemic and just won Best Anthology Film at the DLAFF?
Yeniffer Behrens – A: This film was done out of pure love for what we do! We are creatives, storytellers, artists, and family.
During the darkest of times, we chose to unite and create. Looking forward to the red-carpet premiere party was the motivation for our EP/ Mastermind Alexito Bonito Mendoza. He called my husband Mauricio & I on April 21, 2020, @ 7 pm.
He wasn’t done pitching the brilliant idea before we said YES! WE ARE IN! We got to work on zoom every Wednesday and invited 13 more filmmakers and the rest is history! We have won several awards and counting…the film festival tour continues.
